Instagram is reportedly testing a feature that will allow users to share others' posts in their stories.

It will work with accounts which are public and is apparently being tested with only a small number of users.

In fact, according to a TechCrunch report, there is no guarantee that users will see a full rollout but it will add as a useful tool that Instagram users will take advantage of. "

The report quoted the company as saying, "We are always testing ways to make it easier to share with any moment with friends on Instagram."

As mentioned above, the catch is that feature will only work with Instagram accounts that are public. Further, if those with public accounts do not want their posts to be shared this way, Instagram lets them take that option as well.

The Facebook-owned app launched text-only Stories in January and started allowing users to follow hashtags in December. Instagram was also reportedly testing a native re-sharing button, but the feature has not yet released.
